Country Manager for Honeywell in Angola:
Paulo was responsible for successfully setting up a legal entity and developing the organisation. Paulo was responsible for the P&L and to strategically grow the organisation so that Honeywell could compete in global projects being delivered to Angola.
Schneider Electric (previously Invensys):
Paulo’s mandate was to develop the process automation market for Schneider Electric in strategic countries within Sub Sahara Africa. Paulo developed the Sub Sahara Africa Strategy for process automation as well as the deployment plan which was presented to senior management. The plan was approved in principal and the implementation is dependent on the global economic situation in the timeframe of the plan.
Systems Manager for Yokogawa:
Paulo was responsible for the Sales, Projects and Services business of the Southern Africa region. Paulo was key to the systems business unit tripling in order intake, increase revenue via engineering efficiencies and substantially increase the margin of the business unit and thereby increased the market share of Yokogawa in Southern Africa.
Engineering Director at a System Integrator Company (Ram-tec Systems):
Paulo was key to growing the business to one of the top system integrator businesses in South Africa for two years running.
